Huzaifa Yousaf

Huzaifa is a writer and director with a focus on both short films and theatre. A student of Media Studies, he brings his training in lights, editing and film into his creative practice, blending technical skill with a passion for storytelling. His journey in theatre began in 2022 as a volunteer, which soon expanded into writing, directing and assisting in stage productions. He has since worked on multiple short films and continues to develop new projects for both stage and screen. In theatre, his experience includes Mi Raqsam as well as serving as Assistant Director for Wasawasa: Aik Kahani, a reimagining of John Patrick Shanley’s Doubt. With a growing body of work across performance and film, Huzaifa is committed to shaping narratives that are thoughtful, engaging and visually compelling.
