Sharjeel Tiwana
Sharjeel H Tiwana is an architect, a bilingual poet and essayist, a jewelry designer and a multi-disciplinary artist. His relationship with theatre developed in his time at NCA, where he was part of groups SKITS and Kirdaar for multiple years, producing both comedic and dramatic works. He has worked as an art director, set designer, costume designer and lighting designer. The set design for Waswasa: Aik Kahani is his latest contribution to theatre. On the stage, Sharjeel has performed spoken word renditions of his poetry in Urdu and English. His writing has been published in Youth Dissent, Pen and Paper Mag, and Gypsophila Magazine as well as the latest anthology by Sunday Mornings by the River. Commercially, his art direction portfolio also includes designing corporate advertising shoots and podcast sets. Sharjeel practices architecture and interior design in Islamabad.
