On the 19th of July, Chaand Nagar Theatre teamed up with C&C Theatre and 37 North to deliver an unforgettable evening of improv and stand-up comedy. Held at the vibrant Calm Kaaj co-working space in Islamabad’s Blue Area, the event brought together comedy lovers from across the city for a night of spontaneous brilliance and hearty laughter.

But beyond the humor and entertainment, the evening carried a deeper purpose—it was a fundraiser for Thali, an organization dedicated to supporting underserved communities in Pakistan. Among its many initiatives, Thali is currently focused on donating hand pumps to rural areas of Sindh facing severe water shortages.

The show featured performers from the C&C team (Qasim, Zia, Shahryar, Afeefa, and Rafay) who lit up the room with their sharp wit, infectious energy, and fearless improvisation. For over ninety minutes, the audience was treated to a stream of clever punchlines, hilarious sketches, and unexpected moments that kept everyone roaring with laughter.

The event was a resounding success, not only in terms of audience response but also in fostering a spirit of giving through performance. It showcased the power of theatre and comedy to bring people together, not just for entertainment, but for real impact.
