Usama Ahmed

Usama is a multi-talented artist who has been an active part of the theatre community since 2018. Over the years, he has contributed to numerous productions in diverse roles, including actor, director, and lighting engineer. Most recently, he appeared as an actor in Chaand Nagar’s acclaimed production “Waswasa: Aik Kahani.” Beyond theatre, Usama has made his mark in independent cinema as a writer and director of short films. His work has earned multiple accolades at film festivals, including first place at the 2013 60 Seconds Film Festival for his short film “Democracy – Made in Pakistan.” The following year, his film “Jamhoori Tamasha” also won recognition at the same festival. An accomplished stand-up comedian, Usama has been performing across the twin cities since 2015, bringing his wit and sharp observations to live audiences. Alongside his artistic pursuits, he works as a Senior Design Engineer at a software company in Islamabad.
